French Style Fig and Goatcheese Salad with Pistachios and Provencal Honey Balsamic Dressing

Written by nadjaelli

Hey guys,

I just posted a picture of a superyummy salad that I made on Friday evening. It is suuuuuper easy to make and the combinations of sour-creamy and sweet tastes was just bomb. I also gave the salad some twist with some spices from the Provence. Check out a picture of this yummy salad below:

For the salad you need:

  • 250 grams of lettuce
  • 2 figs
  • 4 slices of goat cheese
  • 1/2 hand full of pistachios
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 table spoon of balsamico
  • salad spices
  • 1 tea spoon of honey
  • a bit of water
  • 1/2 tea spoon of provence spices

Start with washing the salad and placing it in a big bowl. Cut the figs into small pieces and place them on top of the salad. Cut the goat cheese in thin and small slices and also places on the salad. Then start mixing the oil, the balsamico, the salad spices, a bit of water and the honey in a small cup until an even mixture emerges. Lastly add the provence spices to the dressing mixture and drizzle the dressing on the salad. Finally peal the pistachios and places them on top of the salad.

Have some red wine with the salad and you are good to go!

Enjoy and CARPE DELI! 🙂
