Lime and Melissa Lemonade with Ginger

Written by nadjaelli

Hey guys,

I just posted a picture of fresh self-made lemonade. Although I think that the recipe is almost too easy to be worth posting, I thought why not ?! Check out a picture of the fresh lemonade below:

For 1 jar of lemonade you need:

  • 2 limes
  • 1 liter of water (even better: water with bubbles)
  • 1 hand full of Melissa leaves
  • ½ tea spoon of grated ginger
  • 2 table spoons of agave syrup
  • Edible flowers

Cute the 2 limes into halves and squeeze them out in a caraffe. Cut the melissa leaves into smaller pieces and grate the ginger into small pieces and add them both to the caraffe. Finally, add the agave syrup and the water to the mixture and stirr well until the mixture is even. Top the mixture with some flowers for additional summer feeling.

Additional note:

For a stronger taste you can also pour hot brewed water over the mixture, however then the lime juice will lose most of its vitamins.

Enjoy and CARPE DELI! 🙂
