Watermelon- Melissa Lemonade with Ginger

Written by nadjaelli

Hey everyone,

a few days ago I made suuuper yummy watermelon lemonade using my watermelon leftovers. I made it with fresh melissa from my grandma’s garden and a few other ingredients. The watermelon adds extra freshness to the lemonade and I thought that I should share the recipe. Check out a picture of this summer drink below:

For 4-5 glasses of watermelong lemonade you need:

  • 3 glasses of watermelon chunks
  • 3 glasses of cold water
  • 6 medium sized melissa leaves
  • 1 ½ limes
  • 2 table spoons of agave syrup
  • 1 table spoon of brown sugar
  • grated ginger

Start with cutting the watermelon into little chunks and put them in a mixer. Add the 3 glasses of water to the mixer aswell as the 6 melissa leaves and the agave syrup. Take 1 lime, cut it in half and squeeze it out into the mixer. Now start mixing on medium level for about 30 seconds. Fill the lemonade into small glasses and add the grated ginger on the drinks. Sprinkle some brown sugar on top and they are ready to drink.

Enjoy and CARPE DELI ! 🙂
