I also wanted to share the recipe for this Moroccan style Lentil and Bearl Barley Salad with Peaches and Flower Sprouts with you. It was such an easy dish, which was fresh and savory at the same time. The dish was fully improvised, so the measurements of the ingredients can be adjusted according to your personal taste.

200 grams of lentils (brown or red)
100 grams of pearl barleys
150 grams of fresh peaches or 1 tin of preserved peaches
250 grams of flower sprouts
2 garlic cloves
3 table spoons of curry spice
1 table spoon of sweet pepper spice
1 pack pf vegetable broth
A bit of salt and pepper
First of all, cook the lentils according to the package instruction and add the curry spice, sweet pepper spice and vegetable broth to the water, for the lentil to soak up the spices with the water.
While the lentils are cooking, cut the peaches into medium sized pieces and cut the flower sprouts in half.
Cut the 3 garlic cloves into small pieces and start frying them in a pan. Once fried, add the flower sprouts and fry them until the get a little bit brown.
Once the lentils are fully cooked, put them in a bowl and mix them with the peaches. Afterwards, add the garlic fried flower sprouts and the dish is ready. Use some salt and pepper according to your personal taste.
